Festival of Sacrifice, known as "Kurban Bayrami" in Turkish, has great significance for Turkey and its people. This religious festival is based on the Hijri calendar and is celebrated every year, falling 11 days earlier every year according to the Gregorian calendar. In 2024, it will fall on the eve of Eid al-Adha (Kurban Bayramı). Saturday 15 June, which marks the start of the celebrations. The Feast of Sacrifice will be in the middle from Sunday 16 June to Wednesday 19 June.
